Ghiaccio [ˈɡjattʃo] came from Italy at the age of nearly six months. He competed a bit with Amaretto but they soon coped it and after a week they had no problem any more. The females obviously like Ghiaccio and Dolce was just excited. After all Dolce is just by two months younger. And Ghiaccio when he saw Dolce here he was incredibly happy to have found a friend of his age with whom he can play every day. After some time I was captivated by Ghiaccio by his wonderful character. I love all my dogs but Ghiaccio is my love. He is incredibly affectionate and cuddly, he loves every person and every dog. But at the same time he is very lively and he does not stop for a while. He is very promising for hunting too. He is really great annunciator at right moments and when birds fly in the trees then he jumps a meter in height and is barking. He defends his prey, such as a game skin, against the other dogs and he has always won for now. In situations when he has to be quiet, he's incredibly nice and waiting with great patience. Ghiaccio is simply our dear treasure.
Until now we have visited only a few Dog Shows in which he always got Excellent but we will soon start preparation for the trial in a fox hole and then gradually for other hunting trials. Currently we have two males and two females who create a fantastic pack when one defends the other. It can be very useful when hunting wild boars. And Ghiaccio for now does not try to take the role of the head of the pack that Amaretto has but he is able to defend the whole pack. We will see how he develops on the whole but he is triggered very well...

DOG SHOW, HUNTING AND SPORT RESULTS

From January 1st, 2014 the conditions for the reproduction of the terrier in the Czech Republic were very radically changed. Making a male/female usable for reproduction is only possible in the Club Dog Shows. The consequence is that there is really a great competition in all Club Dog Shows and the dogs are judged VERY severely.
