03/2024 - We have a 2,5-year-old rough coated male for sale
It was very quick. Some people from the Nova television have phoned me today that they would like to shoot my opinion on whether the Jack Russell Terrier is an aggressive breed. And at once they told me that they are actually here. So I have picked two dogs up and I has gone to meet them. We shot it really quickly and without preparation, I was quite surprised.
Amaretto has acquired excellent 176 points and so that he passed the hound exam for hunting wild boars in the 3rd award.
I really looked forward to this exam because it is the only exam during which a real battue takes place. Added to that I had a skilful dog who deserved the first award and a nice position. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different. Although there were 4 judges, our group of four "previously convicted" leaders and dogs was judged by one judge, Mr Zbynek Novak. I forever avoid this judge because instead of two pleasant days we spent two days of hell and it is not surprising that one of the "convicted' leaders named him at the end as he deserved from the first moment. At the same time very much things jared during this exam , incl. a case when a dog came to the end of the blood-hound scent and there wasn't a game any more! Or the fact that a month before a winner was known and also what tricks that leader uses to make the impression that her dog does what he doesn't. The whole exam was a great shame of the organizers and I cancel this district for my participation in the hunting exams.
Most I felt sorry for Amaretto because even though I praised him he felt very well that something was wrong. And he did not deserve it. No dog who tries to do what his leader wants deserves it. I was mostly worried about this.
Amaretto Armonia Canina - 2nd place
Beata Vergine Armonia Canina - 2nd place
Our club agility competition is first of all a lot of fantastic food(!), which we start to eat right in the morning... Surely, the reason is that we ran better! It's rather a "fun" event, whose aim is to run and enjoy the whole day. There is really a lot of members in Sezemice and many beginners and this action is first of all intended for them because they maybe do not dare to participate in a real competition and so that they can try it. But everybody enjoys it!
Interesting first pictures from the competion, aren't they? Well, would you resist this?
We are not on the moors but at the training center!
And this is how it looked all day long... but it didn't get our tail down.
And here we started to compete.
And here are our prizes. Who took it before, he had it...
As it was a competition, the judgment was really strict. Our result could be better but we got a low grade for the discipline of searching the game. However it seems to me that searching led in this way completely denied the sense of this discipline - to search and to find a game.
As we waited our turn, we learned that there are wild boars on the right from the path. And Amaretto knew it even before. He sniffed, whimpered and indicated to the right. Therefore he would start to search there but he had to search to the left during the discipline of searching. He probably thought his leader had to go crazy to send him to the left when the wild boars are on the right. And at the slightest attempt to go to the right, I had to send him back to the left. So that we did not succeed in this discipline very much and I do not wonder very much.
We have lost one point at the blood-hound hunting and people discussed the fact that we had substantially different conditions from the others. The blood trace started at a dense thicket (sometimes I even could not see my dog), in which the game is often hiding. However a comment of an onlooker pleased me. He said that it was the best job of all the dogs he has seen today because Amaretto has announced the extinguished doe by barking. Yet when they wanted to take the doe out he crouched and froze with the expression "if you move you will see". I was told that it is his nature and that I do not even know what a dog I have, that he is still young but I should give him another year and that he will be a great dog. And he asked me to sell his to him. And I can probably teach him to be a dog announcing an extinguished game by barking until my arrival. For the remaining disciplines we have received the grades four, which is the maximum.
As a team, we unfortunately have not won. I am afraid the persons placed second and third at the district blood-hound hunting trial could not attend and so the person placed fifth attended this competition together with me. The team from Usti nad Orlici has won the Challenge Cup.
Amaretto has elaborated the blood track very well and he has done very well the other disciplines as well. He has acquired 116 points in the first award and he has placed first. It was a nomination trial and thanks to that we will participate in "The Challenge Cup of the Pardubice Region President" competition on October 13, 2012, in which both individuals and teams sent from single districts will compete.

Penny Marry/JR Rags Puma - 3rd place - SA1 exam
Judge: Ms Marouskova
Only Penny and the dachshund Aneta could compete. The judge is known that she prepares technically difficult show jumpings, which are difficult to be run quickly. Fortunately I missed this information before the competition and so that we could idle face the jumps at the start. Many dogs have been disqualified. Penny has managed to be placed 3rd in the SA1 exam.

Only Penny and my 8-year-old dachshund Aneta could compete. The parcours were interesting but also quite difficult, especially for Penny, for which it was the first official competition. Most quick dogs have been disqualified and Penny has not placed but a bit slower dachshund celebrated success twice. She has been the first in the SA2 exam and 3rd in the open competition.
Penny Marry/JR Rags Puma - the first place when the open and jumping results have been counted up
It was a pleasant day in a very friendly atmosphere where at the beginning course every dog got a reward directly from the organizers. For Amaretto it was the first start at the unofficial competition and so I definitely did not expected him to be placed. The results of the jumping and of the open courses have been counted up and as Penny ran both courses really great, she has worthily won the 1st place, for which we have taken a lot of nice prizes. And mainly the treats for dogs, for which of course the dogs have been very grateful.
